As they say in the classics, beware lest the light at the end of the tunnel is a very slow train coming towards you... even slow trains pack some punch. 

Well, I'm not sure if that is a classic but people have been asking how the new album project is progressing and I wanted to give you all an update. Things have been slow and reasonably challenging with my fellow collaboraters all dealing with life issues at different times which tends to string processes out a bit.

With everyone in better shape and with a bit of time, we have agreed to do as much work before Christmas as we can (maybe even a promo gig or two) so that we can get into the studio as early in the New Year as is possible with a mutual committment for a February-March 2012 release date.  

Thanks to all who have shown interest in how we are going. We are so thankful to all our wonderful supporters, this one's for you!

We've done a fair bit of pre-production work and Karen has already been dabbling with some stellar production ideas so I am really vibed about the season ahead of us.

It was exciting to welcome muso mates Drei and Phil over to our place on Wednesday night.  This has been a slow train coming but we are committed to collaborating with the aim of producing a new album with a tentative release date of spring of 2011.  Karen is the executive producer and I am so looking forward to seeing her unleashed in this capacity. She will also add her musicianship and writing skills to the mix.
